New speakers?

Go to solution Solved by vembutech,

I think A5+ which is quite decent choice can go with that.

I am looking to invest in a new audio setup for my bedroom. The setup will be purely for listening to music for my pleasure, i will not be doing professional audio production of any kind. I listen to a lot of Acoustic, Rock ,alternate rock and the occasional bit of pop music. I will want the setup mostly for near-field listening as the speakers/monitors will be on my computer desk, but i will still want the speakers/monitors to fill the whole room and have good clean audio when i am doing things elsewhere in my room. I was thinking about getting a 2.0 or 2.1 setup, as i do like a lot of clean defined bass.

I didn't know weather to opt for a pair of bookshelf speakers as a lot of them offer useful features such as remotes and they may be easier to implement Bluetooth as i want to add a Bluetooth audio receiver later on. Or i could go for a pair of studio monitors as i heard that they can produce accurate clean sound for the price, i need help choosing a good pair of good clear defined speakers/monitors for my new setup that can connect to my PC. I'm not too bothered at the moment about finding a dac or audio interface. My budget for this setup is £300. I also want the speakers to look clean and have good aesthetics, preferably white.

I heard that some good options are the a5+ (although i hear that they sound quite muddy, but they look great), I also heard that the krk rockets rp6 g3 are good (although i dont like the yellow cones).

How about building a small HiFi system? Maybe an amp, a pair of standmounts and a sub?

For 300 quid, check these out:

If you're looking at situating the speakers near the wall, look at substituting either sealed or front ported options like these:

The build can scale up or down with your needs and budget. Check out other stuff they have at Richersounds. :)
