I was just wondering how you guys are powering your drives without it looking absolutely apocalyptic behind your side panel, since sadly, I'm having trouble with mine :( . I can't use the pass thru sata power cables, since I need to get power to 4 ssds mounting vertically, and the pass thru cables would look quite bad and bulge a bit. So I decided to use straight sata power cables which are connected to molex 4 pin ( 1-1, to make it easier to sleeve). But I can't find a molex 4 pin power distribution board that will fit behind the case. Any suggestions or work arounds? If I have to I'll make the board.

You're not alone. My side panel squeezes on and I've already broken one SATA power because of how much they have to twist and bend. It's pretty atrocious back there.

Good luck with your system - I only have 3 drives I need to power and it's already bad enough.

I actually couldn't underclock my 5 year old GPU to make it as slow as a next-gen console.

I use one of these for my HDD's leaving room to expand and a molex to dual sata splitter for the ssd's behind the motherboard tray. The amount of space you have back there depends on the case, the R4 is quite good for me.

This is what I did in my server: 1 cable, 12 drives, with two cables that gets me 24 drives:
