FX8350 temperature with stock cooling fan.

Is the max temperature for my CPU normal? I haven't overclocked it and the max temp reached 50 when i was downloading a game then jumped to 60 degrees when i started playing. Sorry if this is a stupid question, but this is my first time building a PC and Linus and Slick always mention how great the community is here on the forums.

50 / 65 degrees are perfectly good temps, up to like 85 will do no harm!

Seems not unusual to me. If you're considering overclocking it, I'd strongly suggest getting an aftermarket cooler though :)

I have an FX8350 running on stock cooler too. I get about 20 C idling and 60 max gaming. Not really worried.
