Problems hibernating computer, can Folding@home disable it?

Go to solution Solved by looney,

you will need to shutdown F@H if you want to hibernate.

Its there to prevent hibernation when folding.

Hi,

Ever since I installed Folding@home I have been unable to hibernate my computer. Previously it was preset to the sleep button on the Windows 7 start menu, however this now only turns the screen off. I have tried to re-enable it in the power options menu, however this has not made a difference even though it is set to hibernate when the sleep button is pressed. My computer generates a lot of heat so hibernating is very useful in this hot weather for England. Please help!

Thank you in advance!
