I currently have a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 570, and it has come to my attention that i need to upgrade because of newer games and lacking support.

The problem is that i really don't know which graphics card i should buy. I am currently thinking of buying a 970,  but i have no idea which 970 is best or even if i should go with a more OP card.

I currently run 2 screens at 60 Hz 1080p (FHD), but i am thinking of getting a third screen.

I mainly play Minecraft while modding it to the brink of destruction, but i also play a Skyrim, BF3, GTA 5, CSGO, Siv 5 and Half life 2, and i am thinking of getting some newer games like BF4.

So what i'm looking for is a card that can support my current games and modding while having support for newer titles. Money really isn't too big of a problem, but i am not the guy to buy a extremely overkill card if i don't need it, but i am thinking that a bit over what i need is OK.

The problem (as i mentioned earlier) is that i don't know which model is the best , and that's why i'm looking for advice here.

How quiet the card is isn't that important, but it's always nice with a quieter computer.

Also color matching doesn't really matter as i have a closed case with no matching colors already.

I'm not only looking at performance but features in general.

So, some advice would be nice :)

With regards -a fellow PC gamer.

Would say 970 (SLI: If performance isn't good enough with one), but since you are clearly a Skyrim Modder, you'll need the full 4gb later.

Therefor: I recommend 980

R9 290(x) is a good buy, especially at the moment before AMD announce their new lineup, they've been dropping in price quite a bit, plus they have a full 4GB (in some cases 8GB) of ram.

On the green team, the 970 is probably a safe choice, but if you want to spend a bit more for a little more performance the 980 will be a reassuring choice. You could just OC the 970 and get near stock 980 performance however.

Well a 970 would suit your needs right now. And they overclock very nicely up to close to the same performance as a 980 (stock) plus they are the best price to performance nvidia wise.

But you did say money isn't really an issue, so if you want a bit more 'future proofing' then just get a 980Ti aha, but you really wont need it for 1080p @60Hz, and if you did want more perfomance later down the road then you could always grab a second 970, JayzTwoCents released a video yesterday which would probably help you out a lot:

OK, from what I've seen I'll probably go with a 970 , but what model do you suggest?

saw someone suggest ASUS/MSI/GB, but i would like to hear more on that :)

I have a Intel Core i7 2700K BTW

Gigabyte G1 Gaming GTX 970.
