Paracord sleeving.

I would like to venture into sleeving my cables, since I'm kind of disappointed with the quality of the NZXT extensions I bought.

My question are:

 

How much paracord should I buy to sleeve 1* 24 Pin, 3* 6+2 Pin and 1* 8 Pin?

What diameter paracord do I need?

Is there something else I should know before buying?

100ft should be enough; however, i think it's always best to buy more - say 150FT- 200FT just to keep to the safe side. I chose 550 7strand paracord and the size was fine, the wires didn't snag on anything at all. Are you going to use the heatshrinkless method?

I would like to go heatshrinkless. I think I'll practice on the extensions.

I think I'll get 100ft black and 100ft red. 

 

One other thing. There are 2 cables on my 24 pin that on the motherboard end they go into 1 pin, but on the psu end they go into 2 pins that are not next to each other (there are other cables where this happen but on the psu side they go into consecutive pins) Should I get some heatshrink to sleeve them not all the way up to the connector? Or is there something else I should do.

You should get 150 to 200 feet just so you have some extra. And if it is your first time sleeving cables I would recommend you use heatshrink. Its a bit easier.

i originally bought 200ft altogether and have sleeved like 3 psu's with it and still have a bit left
