This is possible. However, you will have to go AMD FX 6300/8320 for the rendering, as with an i3 it will be painfully slow.

If you mean new games at medium settings, maybe FX-6300/i3 with an R9 280x (maybe?) You need a bigger budget for what you described

CX600 is overpriced, £57 for that is ridiculous. The XFX TS is far cheaper, better quality and has 5 year warranty

Yes the XFX 550w or whatever is better. I just couldn't find it :D I wanted to get off the UK pcpartpicker as fast as possible... it scares and confuses me
