So basically here's the story.

I installed Samsung's Magician software. I was looking through the features for my 850 PRO. I tried turning RAPID mode on. Went to the toilet. Came back and my computer said it had failed to apply the overclock settings, do i want to restore to profile 5. Which is my default OC. So i clicked that. This is when things got weird. infact still are. My BIOS began freezing. When it didnt freeze it froze after it with a flashing _ being displayed. Then i tried to restore the SSD by booting up a USB with Windows on. That then told me that the SSD was locked and i couldnt access any files on it. Then i decided to look up if i could get information back from an old OS. I saw GetbackData. So i decided to reinstall windows. However then realising that my ssd couldnt be used at the same time as the software. I formatted my WD Black Game Drive and applied windows to that. Booted into that and ran GetDataBack. However heres my issue.

After scanning the drive, the software doesnt seem to display any of my files from before. The only recovers found are from 2005 and the image from about 3 hours ago, which is about how long i've been trying to work this out. As well as having the underlying BIOS issue and freezing issue now. I wonder what the hell has happened to my PC. It's like about a month old and i'm feeling like Samsung effectively bricked my whole rig. Can someone help?

First thing, use the jumpers on your mobo to reset the bios cmos, if its freezing at that point you need to fix that first.

if your drive is wiped/partition is damaged any data you write to the drive will over-write your data so when trying to fix the drive you may have over-written the data your trying to get back.
