Rust Code lock ?

Do you get a code lock blue print from the research table by putting a key in there ?

You will find the blueprints in Barrels, Rad towns, or if you find a code lock itself, you can in fact try and research it but if you fail the lock will be destroyed. They are stupidly rare, I was lucky enough to get one on the server I play on in the first 15 minutes. But usually people wonder for days not finding any. Just keep looting barrels you find.
