Should I get 2 980TIs with a 144hz 1080p monitor or 2 980 acx 2.0 with a 144hz 1440p monitor? I will use this build for mostly gaming, my main problem with 980 is the 4gb vram will I need the the 6gb or no?

You only need 1 card for 1 monitor, SLI 980ti if you have the money and then you can worry less about adding more monitors in the future.

A single 980TI is wasted on 1080p, let alone two.

Stick to the 1440p option, 980s do grand at 1440p

yea I don't really have that budget I still have to buy the other parts

a single 980ti is the sweetspot for 1440p 60hz with games settings at ultra.

if you want to play at 144hz. i suggest you stick with 1080p otherwise it's too expensive.

single 980ti for 1080p 144hz with games settings at ultra is perfect.
