xbox smartglass ethernet android tablet problem

MotMan

Hi there, so i have an ASUS tf300t android tablet with as the title says the xboxsmartglass app which i do use, and have recently got the usb ethernet adapter for my tablet because i have crap wi-fi in my bedroom but i do have a ethernet line in from out router to a switch to my pc, xbox and out to the pc in the shed and the final one to my netbook, but now when i try to use the app on ethernet it says it can't connect to the internet nd closes but i open up chrome and it works fine, but smartglass won't, does any1 have anythoughts/ideas?

In advance

Thanks

Tom

I'm just guessing, but I think it is in the programming... normally tablets and phones dosen't have ethernet, so I think there might be some ethernet protocol missing from the programming...
