Pc case desk mod

Go to solution Solved by manikyath,

Since I like computers very much but I can't build any systems for friends etc. because they already have friends, openin up my own system and cleaning it and stuff is fun to me. Hell, right now I am using my case without the side panel so I can watch inside it and can reach in whenever I wanted.

Also, wouldn't the intake fan suck in the pantyhose though?

if that happens, you space it out more, or put the pantyhose behind the fans.

So guys, in the summer I am planning to do a desk/case mod where I put my pc hardware inside my desk(obviously). The full system is MSI H81M-P33 motherboard, Sapphire R9 280X Vapor-X Tri-X GPU, Intel i7 4770 non k CPU, Thermaltake Litepower Black 600W (w0355) PSU and one hard disk and optical drive. I am thinking of air cooling the system. Will the temps be so much different if I used this system in the case instead? Would it run cooler in the desk or in the case? Any and all answers are appreciated.

two reasons why this shouldnt be in general discussion

on topic:

its not the place the system is in that changes the temps, but the amount of air the system gets, together with the amount of heat that can naturally radiate out.

Sorry for posting it in the wrong place, I didn't see the new builds and planning. Anyways, I am thinking of having 1 120mm fan feeding fresh air to gpu and 1 120mm fan exhausting hot air from the back of the gpu and alsı from the cpu. And I am planning to use the psu fan side up since I won't have any holes, at the moment at least, in the bottom. What do you think?

honestly, i'd say 2 or 3 intakes, and 1 or 2 exhausts.

all intakes fanfiltered offcourse.

Thank you for your opinion. I will try to convince my parents to buy one more fan. Do you have any idea on how can I filter the intake(s). I hadn't really thought of that until you mentioned.
