ROG Ranger and Mouse

Go to solution Solved by Senzelian,

I could only find Erp. Which topic did you find yours under?

I think ERP is actually the same. http://www.asrock.com/feature/EuP/

I know that I also didn't find it under EUP. Try to set ERP to off and shut your PC down.

If you then restart your PC it might take a little longer until the PSU kicks in, so don't worry.

Hi, I upgraded to a ROG Ranger and now the light on my mouse always stays on even when my PC is shut down. The lights on the motherboard are also on. I had a look in the BIOS but could not find anything for when the system is off only for when it is powered on.

Any help would be appreciated

Prince

Is it plugged into a usb 3.0 or 2.0 port?

I'd guess its plugged into 3.0 which in most cases will still supply power with your rig off.

when you have a high end motherboard, they usually still deliver power to USB devices even when the machine is off.

Please spend as much time writing your question, as you want me to spend responding to it.  Take some time, and explain your issue, please!

I had the same thing. There is an option in the BIOS to turn it off...

But of course I forgot it. I'll try to find out which one it was and then come back to this thread and tell you.

Edit.: Wow that was quick. You have to turn EUP in your BIOS off. I cannot tell you where exactly you'll find it, but I know it's there. I also have an ASUS motherboard.

I went into my BIOs and found ErP, which was disabled. I could not find the EUP that you mentioned. Which section did you find it under? Thanks
