Windows 8 - Only recognizing one mouse

Go to solution Solved by Tordal,

I seem to have found the reason why.

I booted into advanced boot options and disabled driver signing checking. Now all my mice except for the Corsair M90 works.

I've read something about the M90 requiring a firmware reflash but from a different machine for it to work again, so I'm returning the mouse. Maybe if I'm lucky I'll get an M95 as a replacement since the M90 is out of stock :)

Hi,

I'm usually swapping mice quite often. I hardly ever use one mouse for more than 2-3 months before I change to a new one.

However, after getting a Func MS-3 mouse and installing the driver/software/etc and using it for 2 months, my PC doesn't recognize any of my other mice when I try to replace my MS-3 mouse.

The other day I tried to go back to my Razer Taipan, and the led lights on the mice light up, but there's no mouse pointer, and the mouse buttons doesn't react. I've tried removing the software for the MS-3 mouse and installing the Corsair software for the M90, and the Razer software for the Naga and Taipan, but none of the mice work. Even without any mouse software installed, my PC only recognizes the Func MS-3 mouse, so now I'm stuck with that until I can find a way to solve it.

Does anyone know what might cause this?

have you tried restarting after you plugged the mouse in? Sometimes it happens with my Rat 5. I plug it in, and all the lights turn on, but it doesn't work until restarting

Finally my Santa hat doesn't look out of place
