Hii there,

I was building a new PC and I got a new error which I never happen to see before and Google isn't helping a lot. Hope you guys know something :(

When I start from a Windows Installation Setup (either USB 3.0 or 2.0) I get in the middle of the installation the Bluescreen error. So I tried to install Windows on an other PC with the same USB and it worked perfectly.

I put the SSD back to the PC where it should belong but still the same, I get a bluescreen after a few seconds when Windows tries to boot. The error came extremely fast I had to make a SloMo Video to see what the error is.

It seems to be an IO1_INITIALIZATION_FAILED error.

Pls help :(

"there are two primary causes, one is a problem with a device driver, the other is that the system has been inproperly installed or the installation has been altered (as with a virus.) Because of what you've tried and the way you're now experiencing the problem, I suspect it's a nasty virus."

My instinct is device drivers for your keyboard/mouse or other input devices haven't been installed correctly for some reason. Try using a replacement keyboard and mouse. If none of this works, try downloading using a CD as opposed to your USB - could be a problem with drivers for your USB ports.

Thats really weird. Have you used the same setup disk successfully without errors on other PC's?

Okay, so a quick reason why you're having these problems.

1. Your original problem, of the USB install media not working initially, has not be resolved but rather simply worked around. (this is important to keep in mind)

2. When you took the SSD out of the new computer you're trying to get together (we'll call this Computer A) and put it in another, already functioning computer (we'll call this Computer B), the install media worked and you had a nice clean install for Computer B. But, when you took the SSD out of Computer B and put it back inside of Computer A, you continued to have a blue screen upon boot. The reason for this is because Computer A and Computer B are actually different computers. When Windows starts it has to have certain drivers 100% correct otherwise it wont be able to process data to build the drivers that it needs, a example of a critical driver like this would be your SATA driver or Northbridge Chipset. These drivers, when Windows initially installs itself (what you did with your USB Media), are installed and NO OTHER drivers are installed; so if you had a AMD based chipset on Computer B and then took your SSD out and put it into a Intel based Computer A, Windows wouldn't load the right drivers at first, thus it wouldn't be able to figure out what to do to get the right drivers. This is why doing the restore options helped you. It was able to figure out which drivers to configure itself with.

If you'd like help at doing a CLEAN install on Computer A, send me a message. Otherwise have a good day sir.

Please spend as much time writing your question, as you want me to spend responding to it.  Take some time, and explain your issue, please!

Yes, always used the same USB. For this installation I also choosed the same Windows Setup for one PC and the other and it worked on one but the other not (well now it also somehow worked (yes, used the same USB plug)) :)

Yea I know but mostly it works anyways and I did the Windows installation untill the first reboot then changed from Computer B to A so it could install the rest on the correct PC

after copying this the PC wil reboot and do the rest and that was the time where I installed the rest on the other Computer.

It isn't my first time I installed a PC ;) already did maybe 200 or more? :D
