Hey all,

I am in the market currently looking for a 4K TV. I am planning on using it for the next 2-4 years so it better be future proof. 120HZ and modern software. I am going to stay away from curved TVs. Also, the thinner the bezel, the better. Lastly, I am looking for a 55 inch TV ideally. Anything above 49 inches is fine, but definitely nothing below. I am mounting the TV on a wall so I have limited space, I may upload a picture later but I can't have anything over about 60 inches. The big question... what is your budget? Anything below $1,500 is fine but of course the lower the price the better. Also, if Sony is a possibility I will take it. Sony has the best colors of any TVs in my opinion. What I am looking into, LG 55UB8500 (120HZ 3D (Added benefit) and ultra small bezel), Sony XBR55X800B (55 Inch, 120Hz, Thin Bezle and it's sony!), Sony XBR49X830C (49 Inch, 120Hz, Sony... thin bezels) Sony XBR49X850B (120Hz, 3D, Thin Bezel) Theres also a ton more options below 1000 but I want to know if any of them are even any good. You can check them out here. http://www.amazon.com/gp/search/ref=sr_nr_p_36_5?rnid=8589203011&keywords=tv&rh=n%3A172282%2Cn%3A1266092011%2Cn%3A172659%2Cn%3A6459737011%2Ck%3Atv%2Cp_n_feature_keywords_three_browse-bin%3A7688788011%2Cp_n_size_browse-bin%3A3578042011&qid=1433307220&low-price=&high-price=1000&x=0&y=0

There are no 120Hz 4K TVs unless you want that interpolation nonsense.

Thank you for the comment! And yes, I am not stupid. I understand that the 120Hz, 240Hz "refresh rates" are just gimmicks. I kind of learned that when I saw 240Hz. I frankly just added the refresh rate for the hell of it. Not much more to say but I do understand that its not actually 480Hz but its just a marketing gimmick.

I added it mostly to fill space... I guess I was well I don't know. I'm on summer break and Ark Survival Evolved ended up being quite bad. Had nothing to do...

Didn't say you were stupid, it's a very common misconception :) so it's my standard response :P

TVs are not my thing really, but I have heard good things about the Vizio 50" model. It can actually do true 120Hz at 1080p (one of the few) and has HDMI 2.0 input.

don't bother. there's almost no 4k content. Netflix has like 3 shows and then that's it. my 4k TV was a waste of money.

4k monitor on the other hand, a well worthy investment
