Your Skyrim Character

I'm wondering how other people build their characters. How does it play, which skills did they pick, which factions/guilds did they join, if they create a story/personality for the character and play with it in mind or just do everything they can and level every skill available.

 

Here's mine:

 

Name/Gender/Race: Isane, Female Nord

Weapons/Armour: Bow, Light Armour.

Major Skills: Archery, Alchemy, Sneak

Minor Skills: Speechcraft, Fingersmith, Wayfarer (from Skyrim Redone)

 

Playability: I just shoot from the shadows and kite them around with a shortbow when that's not possible. I rely heavily on poisons to bring down stronger enemies or when I'm vastly outnumbered, be it with damage to kill some of the quickly or slow to kite the strong ones. Alchemy, paired with speechcraft, also gives me a huge source of income. Fingersmith (locksmith + pickpocket) allows me to get more loot from dungeons and silently poison enemies if I wish, altough it's usually much better applied with an arrow. Wayfarer allows me to use bear traps and coat them with poison, which is pretty useful in some situations.

 

Roleplaying: I basically  play her as a good character, and won't do a quest unless it's morally good or at least a grey area. I usually make a short story for the characters so it's easier to define the playstyle/choices, and for this one her father was a hunter that was killed by the thalmor, she learned alchemy first from the village alchemist and ended up going to cyrodil to further study alchemy. Since the ingredients she needed were rare and merchants didn't have them she was forced to hire mercenaries to help her get them, eventually finding the journey to get the materials more fun than the alchemy itself. After learning her father went missing she hastely came back to Skyrim, only to get caught crossing the border illegally.

 

Factions: I joined the imperials since the stormcloaks won't really make anything better, but still kill every thalmor I see. I joined the dawnguard because vampire dust is incredibly useful stuff, and since those vampires kept attacking me. The companions are the closest thing to a fighter's guild, altough becomming a werewolf isn't exactly my thing, and the other guilds don't really suit this character.

I always found it so hard to join the imperial legion after them trying to execute me at the beginning, it felt so wrong to help to help them... Especially since the beheading was followed by a trip to their torture chamber...

Well I'll be creating a new character soon cause my current is built upon mods I don't have installed anymore.

I don't remember anything about my character other than two handed swords and I joined the Imperials. I found an old picture of my character.

I always found it so hard to join the imperial legion after them trying to execute me at the beginning, it felt so wrong to help to help them... Especially since the beheading was followed by a trip to their torture chamber... 

Yeah but if you think about it nothing good will come if the Stormcloaks win. The empire lost a war, if they do not abide by the Thalmor rules Skyrim will just be invaded which will turn out even worse for everyone. Not to mention Thalos wouldn't want the empire the be dissolved as it was founded by him.

It is hair # 160.

Looks very similar to one of the hair models from the Apachii skyhair or whatever it was called, which was using models ported from the sims if I recall correctly, I'll see if I can find a link.

Apachii Sky Hair is really good and I use it but this hair is from the Oblivion hair.

the name of my character is minato(mostly due to persona 3) and he basically is an all rounder person. A sort of jack of all trades however ultimately sneak and single sword wielding are highest as they get used too often and i applied a blessing making the sneak level up 20% quicker without knowing it.
