That looks possible but as I was mentioning about the I/O how will you pass the cables through since there is a solid divider on the left.

 

One thing I would make sure is if you plan to have it slide out is to ensure you have more than two rails it will flex a lot using only two rails and the tray. Ideally if you could build a drawer with no front and mount the tray on the back of the drawer it will provide much better support but will add extra thickness.
