So I've purchased this wireless network adapter in October because my family doesn't want cables lying around in the house..

The first month of using this; I had no issues, it worked fine internet connection was great..

However, after that first month i started to have problems..

Specifically packet loss, I don't know if it's my Network Adapter, or my ISP, or w/e

Please help me find a solution :c (An explanation of what packet loss is would help! Make sure it's in English lool)

Packet loss is simply loss of data packages going across a network. It could be caused by many things such as electro magnetic interference, loss of signal amplitude, flaws within an device ect. Tracking it down to a device is fairly easy but fixing it tends to be a lot tougher. You can start by using the command prompt to run

tracert www.google.ca

This would tell you where a long the way packets are being lost. Once you know where along the line the issue lies, the easier it will be to solve. I find that a simple reboot on whichever device is the culprit tends to fix the issue (assuming the issue is not with the environment in which the device is located.)

So I entered that into cmd, and the results showed that line 2 had *, so i'm assuming that, that's where the issue is. (Other lines are fine)

What's the next in fixing this issue? (How does one restart the device?)

I receive * as well but I have no packet loss.

restarting pc. unplugging router etc.

run the following:

pathping google.com

and post the entire output.

Never knew about that one. Seems to be a trace route and ping all in one.
