ok, so right now i have been able to get mine stable at 4Ghz@1.250V via the bios, but i haven't been able to get it to boot into windows past that, though i can get 4.3 using asus turbo v, its not stable. ive seen people get it higher and stable, with lower voltages...im using the ASUS M5A99X EVO R2.0 mobo right now with watercooling, so temps aren't an issue, but if anyone has this cpu and has been able to get a higher clock, any help would be appreciated. here is what my rig is if your wondering http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/p/zm6Y

The thing is that every chip is different so if some one else got on particular clock at a particular voltage does not mean that you are going to get that same clock. It sucks some times but that is just how it is. The only way to get it stable past 4Ghz is to raise the Vcore more.

um, i had it at 1.2650V, which is way more than needed, and i wasn't able to get past 4.2, so unless i need to pour a hell of a lot of voltage for a 200Mhz boost, then its not voltages, also logan from tek syndicate was able to get the 8350 to 5Ghz on a lower voltage, and same mobo, so i think its something else

he might have been able to get the 8350 to 5Ghz but that is a totally different CPU. and he might have been lucky whit the chip he got.

And the fact is that at some point the CPU wont go any faster then no matter have much voltage you give it. It all depends on how lucky you were whit the chip you got
