MICROSOFT Surface RT - now cheaper

So since Microsoft as reduced the price of the Surface RT tablets by £120 here in the UK, do you think its worth going for it instead of getting a cheapo laptop?

 

PC World is selling the 32gb version for £279, that's without the keyboard.

 

Anyone got a Surface RT tablet and is it any good for office word/excel?

I'd get a laptop for that price. Windows RT is.. Sorta.. Ewwwwww

I think if the price went down a little further, so maybe $300 with the type cover than I would buy it. Otherwise I would wait until the 2nd generation ones come out with Baytrail/Haswell processors before getting one.
