I need the best 800 dollar pc 1080p gaming build. SSD and OS included. (OS can be bought off g2a for around 20-30 dollars) Thanks everyone. Also I prefer Intel and nvidia, but whatever will give me the best performance is fine with me. And I won't be overclocking, so a z97 board and a K series processor isn't needed

Or neither a Z97 motherboard.

No they don't need them for gaming, but if you can fit more performance into a build while staying at the budget why not add it?

The board I suggested is cheaper than H97 boards right now it was chosen more for the price than as a gaming board.

Becuase the expensive motherboard and processor (which don't matter much for gaming) eat into the graphic card budget ( which matters for gaming). So, while the other were able to fit a 970 into their suggested bulids, you only got a 280x (which is slower), the faster procesor wont help here as well as its being bottlenecked by the slower graphic card.

I agree they did limit the GPU budget but I don't agree the 280x will bottleneck the CPU.

My PC is running a sapphire 280x with an i7-4770k and at least on 1080p I can max out settings on games like GTA V and still not drop below 60fps. The Xeon I used for that build is on par with my i7 (except locked) and I have no gaming issues.

This depends on wether the game is GPU or CPU bound
