Yep it's compatible.

it will work but you probably wont be able to overclock it and it might need a bios update before it works at all. If you want a board that can overclock you need a Z87 or Z97 board. I suggest getting a cheaper i5 like the 4590 or 4440 if you dont care about overclocking. They perform pretty close to the 4690k at stock speed.

Yes they are compatible but the i5 should go in a z97 for overclocking since it is unlocked
