Is my RAM broken?z

Go to solution Solved by lani100,

I was looking at my task manager and checked how much ram I was using. It was using like 2.0-3.0 GB of RAM as normal. They I checked how fast the ram was because i was unpacking big archives and it was taking a while. Then I found out that my RAM was 800 MHz. On the box of the RAM, it says 2133 MHz.

This is the RAM that I am using: http://www.amazon.com/PNY-2133MHz-240-pin-Desktop-Kit-MD16384KD3-2133-X11/dp/B00KMXUXKM

Any ideas why? Thanks!

Most programs can't read the speeds good like Taskmanger and Speccy

Check your BIOS to see what speed it's running at, also check if you have the XMP profile enabled.
