@DryzonDigital nice build. Perhaps an SSD might be in order?

Good build, but I think XFX GPUs are better than MSI's Radeon Cards. (Correct me if I am wrong)

This particular 280x is a gem for the build target at hand, any XFX equivilant under performs and messes up the budget. I don't know about XFX vs MSI in general.

Also, another question I forgot to ask in the main post; Will the psu be sufficient for a potential xfire with an additional 280x? I think it will be just enough. If not it's no big deal.
