I've had this problem happening to me recently, where the battery on my One M8 has been garbage. I didn't notice it until last week, but it's been getting worse. Google Services is drinking battery. From the time that I unplug my phone in the morning (about 6:30) to when I get out of school (2:30) my phone will have used 60-70% of its battery, leaving me with 30-40%. After looking it up, I've found that turning location services from Highly Accurate to Battery Saving helped a lot of people, but I saw a negligible improvement. I've also read that turning off account sync helps, but I kind of like having it on, so I don't really want to turn it off. I know this might sound weird, but I got a micro SD card for it a couple weeks ago, so is it even possible that it could be the culprit? My friend has a Note 4 with a micro SD card, and the problem doesn't affect him. The ROM I'm running is InsertCoin 3.0.8 (Android 4.4.2), but I haven't had any problems there. The phone is also rooted, so is it possible that something is causing Google Services to drain battery?
