While it can also output audio into your headphones, you won't be getting any sound from the game if you were to plug the audio jack into that adapter.

It will let you plug your headphones directly into your television's red and white RCA output so you can get sound.

Do you already have the headset? It may come with a female 3.5mm to RCA adapter. I have the Clouds myself but I don't keep up with the stuff I never use.

Ok so i already have the female to RCA adapter, from previous headsets . But thank you for clearing up my questions.
