Heey guys,

so i have a dell pc and you all know the reinstal code is on the desktop, but when i build a new pc and put windows 10 previeuw on it, but than reinstal windows 7 useing that code on my pc will this work?

Most likely not since it is branded OEM.

I don't think it would work if your Windows licence was activated over a year before the release. If it's a big OEM like Dell your licence from the side of the PC might be valid for Windows 10 assuming it hasn't been used before (but I wouldn't rely on it).

I don't suppose it would hurt to try once Windows 10 comes out, if it doesn't work you could just buy a Windows 10 licence, but don't rely on it working.
