RAM Usage Help!

So I bought G.SKILL SNIPER 8GB a while ago.. and from how i've noticed, my ram usage goes to 100% (sometimes) when it's only utilizing under 2GB.

Is the RAM at fault? or am I doing anything wrong. Picture shows I'm only using 1.7GB and it's already nearing 50%.

 

Correct motherboard is supported, It's in the right slots. Double checked and triple checked.

Well, would be a lot better if you showed us the actual processes instead of the % RAM used
