Which Cpu Has The Most Floating Operations Per Second?

Are we talking consumer processor or in general?   There is a huge difference.

On a single thread Haswell is very good due to its 512bit floating point unit & instruction set support.

 

And obviously on a multithreaded workload Haswell cpus with lots of cores are very good.

I'd say the Xeon 2699v3 would have the most FLOPs.

Skylake will support AVX3. Haswell supports AVX2
