Building a PC with a budget of $1000NZD ($726USD)

Yo Yo, so I am building a new PC for around 726 USD or where I am from 1000NZD. I aim new to building so I have no idea where to start part wise. My ultimate aim is to run GTA V and most graphic intensive games. So some things I want to know is what CPU to get, what graphic card and any tips or tricks for cutting costs or putting it all together. Thanks heaps.

AMD FX chips aren't too good. Fewer faster cores > many slower cores. A Hyperthreaded i3 would beat an octocore AMD CPU.

It may be a reputable brand but it is crap, imo not worth skimping on PSU for other components to be better
