its for working on animations and games etc....

any tweaks needed?

It is a solid one, albeit the PSU is a bit overkill :)

 

probably an hybrid version psu, so 1000 watts is just fine never spinning fan :D (I got EVGA hybrid for an i3 and gtx 660 with about max 230 watt ussage, I got the 850 watt, over kill? Nah :P )

I have a Corsair RM850 with zero-fan mode, an i7-4790K + two-way 970 SLI and the fan has never started up still :D

Get a caviar Black for better performance. Green drives are meant for archiving (not stuff that needs fast accessing times). Just wanted to make sure you don't do something stupid.

Other than that, great build.
