Tablet "insufficient storage" bug fix?

It says I have insufficient storage on my android tablet, which me not notice only just realised that I have cut down in apps by more than half. When I try to clear some apps and cache I found out I actually have more than half of the storage I have available but underneath it says 1.xx (x being any number) MBS left. This is extremely destroying fun as am still a teen and I can't play on most apps because of deleting them.

Plug it into a PC and access the storage from there, Sometimes the files stay on there but isnt visible via android.

Try rebooting the device, this can get it to scan the storage again.

Do you mean hard reset or just normal as in turn off and on

Shut down and restart I would expect to sort it otherwise you next option maybe to factory reset it and configure everything again,
