i got a computer at christmas and since then when ever i play demanding games it crashs after a while. when it crashes it  goes to a randomly colored screen there is usally a sound loop from the game but everything else keeps going for a few seconds. for example i can still talk on skype then the computer restarts itself. this happens all the time on demanding games but in things like fur mark it doesnt crash i used the vally benchmarking once and it crashed during that but in fur mark it doesnt. after less then 1 minute on far cry 4 it crashs. im sorry for any spelling mistakes in this post im not the best at grammer and spelling any help is really appreciated.

I had a similar problem, but that's because the CPU was a massive bottleneck.  Doesn't seem to be your problem here.  Do you have all the latest drivers installed?

Monitor the tempratures and make sure your processor / video card aren't overheating..

Beyond that your looking at bad power, driver porblems, bad memory or a dodgy HDD / windows install.

You going to have to go through a few hoops of tests and checks to pin down the issue.

First things first, check your temps..

Look at the error codes. You can use the Windows Event Log to found out what went wrong and caused the system to crash.

Helpful video in case he doesn't know how:

Also it's a non k chip on a B85 board... it would be easy for them to check if you have messed with anything in the bios.. They are just trying to avoid dealing with you.

make some noise about it BUT stay polite and calm. If they still do nothing to help you need to report them to some kind of consumer rights / trading standards agency.

run a stress test, as well as a program like RealTemp.

what stress test should i use

I'd say AIDA64, it's not safe to run Prime95 on Haswell or Haswell refresh.
