I was just wondering if Razer Headsets were any good because I found a Razer Kraken Pro for $37 because it was refurbished. There is a 30 day return policy so I can return it if necessary.

HyperX Cloud is the best value headset there is. Another option is to get proper headphones and a clip-on, lav or desk mic to go with it. For example Superlux headphones (HD668b and HD681 EVO) are very good and don't cost much at all. Something like Zalman ZM-MIC1 attaches to the headphones' cable and it doesn't much either!

They are not good but also not very bad. I have Krakens and first i do not use them as main headphones anymore but they are the ones that i use when i'm in puplic because they are good isolated and they do not break easily. Get them if they are on a great deal but they are something like beats from the soundprofile.

HyperX Cloud or Cloud 2 is really the only good gaming headset, get that or get headphones with a clip on mic if you really need it.

I personally own the G230, its decent, 

 

I wont say its the best, but i got mine used for like $20ish, it does the job. 

 

But as what the others said, HyperX Cloud 1/2 are your best bet, or get good headphones and a ModMic or something like that

 

 

Stay away from the Kraken pls

 

Here in my place, all stores are stacked with Krakens and kids buy it because Pewdiepie uses it
