I have an AMD athlon x4 860k, running at stock (3.7GHz), paired with Corsair H80i. It idled around 50 celsius and when running Prime95, it is around 80 celsius. I tried overclocking it a little bit at 4.0 GHz, it idled around 65 celsius and when I ran Prime95 it went way past 90 degrees, everything went off except for the cpu. Is this normal or is there something wrong with the watercooling or is there something wrong on my part?

PS: I already posted this on water-cooling section, but I think it was not the right place to post my problem.

anything around 80+ Celsius is danger zone

Anything above 60 Celcius is "danger zone" for AMD CPUs.

Those temperatures are too high, you should try to stay under 60 degrees. Try remounting your cooler and re-applying thermal paste.

I have already re-applied the thermal paste a couple of times, 3 time to be exact. I even changed the fan that came with the H80i to a Corsair SP-120, but everything is still the same. I was thinking of changing my H80i to a H100i. I don't if it will somehow lower the temperature? I was also wondering maybe the H80i is faulty? I'm not very sure.
