how does this work then?

Go to solution Solved by dragoon20005,

but it was all ready overclocked

since your current GPU temps still have a gap between the max temps

it will still try to crank up the speed before it hit the thermal limit

so i have my power limit set to 110 (MAX) in after burner but after playing GTA for a bit i noticed that the GPU hit 114% power why is this it should only go to 110% right?

it was running cool enough so GPU boost boosted it? I don't really know...

i guess max temp was 70c and target temp was 79c and this happened after i prioritized power limit because i use to worry about temp so i had that prioritized
