This is my final build I have settled on. This will be my first build. Anything I should change before I buy it? I plan on playing games like Dayz, Arma III, Rust, BFH, BF4, Stranded Deep, and CS:GO. Any changes that wont go over the price that is already there by much and improve the system or lower the cost and improve the system would be greatly appreciated. This is it http://pcpartpicker.com/p/9KL2GX

That's what I was thinking. Like the MSI one looked really good. I just have the budget for it. Do you know one that has a pretty cheap price, but a good brand.

How so? What would I change to keep it at $1,200?

Your peripherals are taking up a pretty big chunk of the budget. I know a mechanical keyboard and Corsair M65 is nice and all that but it is causing you to spend less on the gpu.

If you only plan on running a single graphics card then a 550W psu is enough. Something like the EVGA GS 550W or XFX XTR 550W.

You don't need extra thermal paste as coolers come with their own.

I would also drop the extra fans for the time being. You can always add extra later on.

I guess you do have a point. I am not that big fan of sound. So I can just use apple earpods. I used them before and they should hold up now.

This is $80 more than your original. $1334 total.  Drop the some of the unecessary parts for lesser ones.  Example, drop the Clouds and grab some $15 speakers, or drop the G710 keyboard and get a $10 microsoft keyboard as a placeholder.  These types of peripherals can be added later.

Also, I did not add the 1TB storage.  That is another thing you can add later, really easily.

This is ready for a second GTX 970.

What about this http://pcpartpicker.com/p/L37Txr? I still thinking of going with the very first one I sent. Though I want to see what you guys think of this build.

This is a much better power supply:  http://pcpartpicker.com/part/evga-power-supply-220gs0650v1

No, they are not the same at all.

The NEX is made by FSP.  The GS is made by Seasonic.

What do some of their higher wattage PSU's have a G2 version but the lower wattage units only have a GS version.

G2 is made by Superflower, they are really well made... like the GS.  It is not about the wattage, it is about the build quality.

If the NEX was a lot cheaper, sure you could settle for it... but... the GS is cheaper and a much higher quality PSU.

The GS is made by Seasonic so it is very good quality. The G2 as mentioned above is made by SuperFlower. Both are very good units.

Okay cool. How does this build seem http://pcpartpicker.com/p/MLtpLk? It is between this one http://pcpartpicker.com/p/MLtpLk and http://pcpartpicker.com/p/9KL2GX . Which one?

If you don't mind going with a cheap mouse/keyboard combo to start with, then this has a better Monitor (144Hz) and a small SSD included. The psu is also big enough for a 2nd GTX 970 later on. The EVGA Bronze unit is also made by Superflower so it is good quality.

Is it worth getting an 80+ Gold PSU?

A Bronze rated unit is fine as long as you get something that is good quality. The EVGA B2 above is based on the SuperFlower Golden Green.

It scores a solid 9/10 from Jonnyguru - http://www.jonnyguru.com/modules.php?name=NDReviews&op=Story6&reid=393
