Problem with Download speed

Hi guys i have bought a new mobo Gigabyte z97x Gaming 5 and for some strange reason my download speed dropped to 500kb/s which is very weird for me because my usual download speed is 2.2 mb/s. 

I was downloading counter strike from steam and the speed did not go up further than 500kb/s. any ideas ? 

 

Help please.
