fx8320temp

guys, i have an fx 8320, with asus m5a99fx pro r2.0 motherboard, and corsair h80i cpu cooler.

my temps in asus ai suite shows the cpu temp around 45c under less work and around 65c under full load. i have an overclock of 4.4ghz.

and my chasis temp comes approx 50c  while my r7 260x hits temps around 70c under full load...tested in aida64.

is these kind of temps ok or higher than usual?

i live in india...and its summer here..so atmospheric temps hit around 40c in the day.

Holy banana split!

I use my AMD CPU as a stove these days. Works pretty well actually, just made eggs in 15 seconds.

65 ic fine, try reaching for 64 though (maybe lower the oc).

now I'd be worried about that. 72c is the throttling barrier for FX cpus, and you start loosing lifetime even before that.

Don't ask to ask, just ask... please 🤨

Hehe.

My fx 6300 on stock settings with 212 evo is around 50-55 degrees I think.

I have tried overclocking a bit but I don't think my motherboard can take it, RIP..

I do not believe that the atmospheric temperature matter that much since I live in Sweden and my computer part temps are not especially low.

60-65 while under full load and oc is fine, but if you can get it down a few (celsius) degrees then that would be great.

i dont think i can get it down much...
i did ramp up the speed of the fans...to 100% ...and then also reach around 60c
though in winter the temps do get very low...like cpu hits 40c under full load :)
anyway....i guess these temps are fine...right? nothing for serious worries??
