Bootcamp keyboard bug

i have a macbook air 2013 and i have recently changed to using windows on bootcamp. 

 

however, one problem i am encoutering is the keyboard backlight keeps turning on itself. 

 

i have downloaded power manager assistant, which doesnt really help as i need to keep toggling the light to turn it off. 

 

are there any known fixes to this problem?

note: i am in a very well lit area, so any ambient auto turn on light is highly unlikely

Make sure you have the correct Bootcamp driver package installed from Apple's website.
