How to clean install Drivers

Normal mode is fine.

I have used DDU,i went to msconfig and booted into safe mode and did the necessary things,

My question is after booting up do i need to go to msconfig again and click on normal?

My default before was selective startup with the option "use original boot configuration" option

But after booting up i see that it is unchecked,

Do i need to select it or just click on normal mode?
