NEED HELP FAST CPU COOLING!

I have orderd a new cpu Q6600 and now i just realised that do i need to change my cooler as my old cpu is a e6600 and i may sound like a retard but do i need a new cooler as it is a quad core cpu my socked is a lga 775 do hel guys my old cpu cooler is this one well like this it not my pic but do i need to upgrade THANK YOu

Cooler compatibility is dependent on the motherboard and not the cpu.

They are the same socket but the Q6600 might run a little hot since the cooler was designed for a e6600 but should work fine just keep an close eye on the temperatures.

 Should be fine but can't tell that for sure but it has a large surface so should be fine.
