Ok, I would like to know if I get a computer off of one of these sites, would they be upgradeable or is it a waste of money? I will be driving an 18-wheeler as my new job. I don't know if I will be able to put a full desktop in my truck. I will have to ask my trainer about that. I know that I can put a mini-fridge in the truck and some other things. Are there any truckers on here that can give me some friendly advice?

Is it worth spending money on these sites? More than likely I am going to have to get another laptop to replace the one that I currently have. It's only a year old and it already struggling to play some of the later model games. I can post my specs later if anyone is curious on what I have. I realize a desktop would be the ideal gaming rig, but I am unsure if it will fit in my truck.

As soon as I have some more money saved up, I will have a budget of $2500 either to finish my desktop build or to get a decent laptop at least with a 980m for the GPU.

Thank you in advance,

-Deepia

This is about as low power for the tower as possible. Its also cheap. I went with the ssd because I am not sure if you wil be using this on the road but I would not have an hdd in a moving vehicle or un even surface. 750 ti is good for web browsing and some gaming if you do that. I also got an 80+ gold psu for efficiancy. but not sure if this will use the power where 80+ gold makes sense.

Just because you don't care, doesn't mean other others don't. Don't be a self-centered asshole. -Thank You a PSA from the people who do not say random shit on the internet.

I already have a Corsair Vengeance C70 Case. The only time I would be using the computer would be on my 34-hour resets to play games and sleep. I don't want to kill my truck battery, but I still want to be able to play GTA V, and Shadow of Mordor, etc. I can always wait until I have a place of my own and just get a laptop for right now. It seems logical enough, but desktop is the way to go.I wish laptops were upgradeable.

Also, putting the above together would be my first build. I have the knowledge to put it together, it's just doing it by myself. Lol.
