1. My budget is around $1500 so I know I need to reduce the price on this build and I am in the US

2.The aim of my build is to do pretty high quality gaming at 1440p

3. I only plan on using 1 monitor at 1440p

4. I do need a keyboard, mouse, and os but that is already included in this build

5. I am not upgrading this is my first real gaming computer that's not a bad laptop

Here is the build: http://pcpartpicker.com/user/Mullen/saved/Dy2frH

As you can see I need to reduce cost by $100 somehow.

Yours Sincerely,

The Beast,

Sean Mullen

I would get this build that costs $1501

An AMD cpu has no place in a solely gaming build, end of.

I3 4150, Intel HD graphics, corsair CX750M, 4gb ram, Asus H81M-E, corsair 230T, Intel stock cooler WD Green 2TB Gigabyte 550TI

Why you shouldn't trust Gpu or Cpu boss Click on this I dare you!

Just leave out H110 for now and use the stock cooler until you have money to buy the H110, Or other option is to buy Coolermaster Hyper 212 evo (around 30$) instead of H110, and that would be around $1560. Also get the memory in 2x4GB kit.

1 stick vs dual channel has minimal performance difference in games.

I suggest he goes for 1 8gb stick now and add another later.

If he goes for 2x4gb he would be able to go up to 8gbs on a mATX board and up to 16gbs on an ATX board.

While he can go from 8gb up to 32gb later down the road.

I agree.  The Hyper 212 evo is great, and Dual channel operation is usually nicer.

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/dnQHjXIf you wanna be at $1500 don't buy the CPU cooler and wait. Unless you plan on doing so,e heavy overclocked you don't ned a liquid cooler :)
