A tough choice.

Hi, I am looking to build a PC, but i have come to a tough decision. For my budget of £750 i would love to get a gtx 970 however that would mean i would have to settle with an AMD FX 8350, or i could buy a 4690k but then only be able to afford a 280x/290. Since i am a gamer I thought it would be an obvious choice to go with an 8350 and gtx 970 (as the GPU has a much bigger gaming difference compared to the cpu) but i am still not decided yet.

 

I would be very greatful if somebody could reply on what they would choose.

I'd go for the i5 right now for easier upgrades later on, with a 290. Both of these components are easier to upgrade rather than the FX CPU and 970.

I never thought of that, but now that i do i certainly agree, thank you very much!

Also you might like the 290 more because of the non crippled .5 GB

*Now I wait for any Nvidia fanboys to come hating if they see this*
