4690 vs. 4460?

In your opinion is the 4690 worth the extra $30 over the 4460? Looking to build a mini itx build for gaming in the living room.

4690k if you are to get a good CPU Cooler and Overclock a decent amount, otherwise no.

Without overclocking the difference is minuscule so not really. Even a 4440 will do perfectly and you can sometimes save a couple more bucks for 100mhz less.

$30, that's like £19. That's nothing in therms of what the processor actually costs. I say if you're spending ~£150 on a processor to start with, unless you're having to budget particularly tightly anyway, then what's another £19?
