Gpu? You might have a dead gpu or monitor on your hands. Also if your overclocking then that might have caused the problem to spark.

Its not constant. Happens every couple minutes when im browsing the web. I havent overclocked yet.

Can you post a video of the issue? (you can use youtube)

Ill try, but i might be able to get a pic more easly, i just have to wait for it to happen again.

What gpu is it make manufacturer all that stuff, when did you buy it. Hell just list all your specs, Check every capacitor on your motherboard and the gpu. Is the gpu factory overclocked?

I have been taking a closer look and it almost seems like a stutter. Maybe my tv is going bad. It seems like the lines are a delay in a refresh of the screen. I use a flat screen as my monior. Its a samsung 40in.

I have not yet started to overclock.

Specs

Gpu- Geforce EVGA gtx 580 2years old

4770k

maximus 6 extreme

windows 7

raid 0 2x120gb ssd

ddr3 1866 viper memory

Damn thats a hard one, ive never fixed a haswell system yet but the gpu is the closest thing to come into question even though its not even that old. Are you sure there arent any driver conflicts.

This is a clean install. I installed the os yesterday. I cant see how there would be a driver conflict.

Hmm, im backing againest a wall here but try changing the input for your monitor eg switch dvi to vga. Try another monitor and change the amount of hertz  of the monitor. Do you get artifacts in furmark btw?
