What are WUs?

I see people with 114 WUs with 3 million points, I have 820 WUs with 200k points. What are they how are they earned?  http://fah-web.stanford.edu/cgi-bin/main.py?qtype=userpage&username=TheGeeker

Work Units.  Not every WU is the same difficulty or give the same points.  Running the Chrome F@H client gives your CPU quick and easy WUs to crunch through while GPUs get the tough ones in the F@H client.

Ok. So people with the 3 mil points and 114 wus are running gpus instead of the cpus  @linkp2p

You can also see for a lot of the old 4P folders with some really weird numbers. My old 4P unit would yield 500k on a single WU. Ahh, the good old days. :)
