Try unplugging and re-plugging all the power cables to the motherboard if needed reset the CMOS

Also make sure the dispaly is properly connected to the GPU and not the mobo if they have one.

The GPU hasn't arrived yet so we don't have one. We are unplugging all the power cables and plugging them back. We flashed the bios to the latest version.

There aren't too many other things than reseating the RAM and making sure the cooler isn't tighten down too much or seated improperly which is rare.

Should we test it with 1 stick of ram and if so which slot do we put it in. The one it tells us to on the manual or?

Still nothing. All we have plugged in is CPU Cooler, CPU, Ram, PSU, Keyboard and Monitor

And still the same errors? No change at all.

Usually the error code 99 is caused by either the 24 or 8 pin not making good connection or have issues where error code 64 can be a lot of things. I'm a bit stumped at what it could be, anyone else have input?

Now he plugged in a different keyboard. Now we only get 99

How odd, but I'm suspecting it may be an issue with the motherboard if all the connections are good and it keeps giving an error code 99.

He is trying to unplug and plug it back again but HX series cables are up to their old tricks. Don't like being plugged in.

Also two of the pins on the PSU side of the 24 pin mobo cable are not flush with the other ones

As long as it's making a good electrical connection it shouldn't be a problem just give the pins a bit of a push from the wire end to make sure it's still locked in place.

He said there was one time he got a AE. Also do you have to buy sata cables or which component do you receive them in?
